Our History
BID Construction is the original construction company that has developed into what is the BID Group today. BID Construction was formed in 1983 by Brian and David Fehr, in partnership with their father Ike. BID has demonstrated time and again the ability to find solutions that fit our customers’ needs. BID’s reputation rests on our superior work ethic and the ability to finish every job by its deadline. Ask around. Our reputation speaks for itself.
Our Profile
On-site project management and construction is now handled by one of two companies – BID Construction Ltd. (registered in British Columbia) and Nechako Construction Ltd. (registered in Alberta). Both companies share the same ownership, and combine to serve the entire Pacific Northwest.
BID Construction is very familiar with the lumber manufacturing, OSB and green energy industries. BID has many long term employees that have worked at almost every mill site in BC. BID also has the resources to co-ordinate a project of any size or duration. BID is backed by the rest of the BID Group, and can provide leadership in project detailing, planning, fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
