History
Northwest Equipment Rentals (NER) has been operating since July 2007. It developed from the growing demand for BID Construction equipment by other contractors. With the purchase of Whooping Crane, which added extensively to the equipment portfolio, the creation of NER formalized the rental process of BID equipment.
In 2008, the BID Group purchased Lazer Transport. This fleet of trucks and trailers became part of NER in 2009 and is now available for hire.
Current
Northwest Equipment Rentals is now co-located with Northwest Wood Preservers on Willow Cale Forest Road in Prince George. There are 10 employees and about 62 pieces of equipment available for rent. Two mobile service trucks ensure that equipment is running at a peak level and down time is kept to a minimum.
