With over 30 years of experience in industrial fabrication and construction, Brian Fehr leads the BID Group’s strategic expansion and corporate vision. Through his direct involvement in project management and customer relations, he has helped to establish the BID Group as a premier design, manufacturing, construction and project management organization. Brian is known for his hard-work ethic and his passion for the prosperity of Northern BC. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the BC Safety Authority and is a past Director of the BC Association for Crane Safety and Baldy Hughes Addiction Treatment Centre.

David Fehr

David Fehr has worked in the forest industry for over 35 years. His vast experience spans a wide range of operations including lumber remanufacturing, wood treatment processing and bioenergy systems manufacturing. David also has extensive experience in steel fabrication and large project construction management. David’s passion for operational excellence and his leadership in large-scale, home grown apprenticeship programs have been key to the organization’s growth and success over the past three decades. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters BC. David is also a past City Councillor for the District of Vanderhoof and key participant in the CNC Trades Advisory and Community Futures boards.

With over 25 years of experience in construction and project management, Bob Derksen is at the helm of the BID Group’s largest construction projects and leads one of the largest field construction crews in Northern BC. Bob is continuously refining and advancing the BID Group’s construction capabilities. For each project, he pulls together the very best resources from individual companies within the BID Group and ensures our On-Time-On-Budget promise.

Barrie Topper

Barrie Topper has over 30 years of experience in financial management for aggressive, entrepreneurial construction-based operations. Working with BID Group for over 15 years, Barrie facilitates efficient, growth-driven strategies for the company through a hands-on approach to cash control, financial reporting, cost analysis, staff supervision, insurance and banking. Prior to joining the BID Group team, Barrie worked with Goodbrand Group and Kerhoff Group.

Rod Fitzpatrick

Rod began his career with BID Construction as the manager of equipment rentals. Rod has since been the Operations Manager of Nechako Mechanical in Vanderhoof, and is currently the Procurement Manager for our Group of Companies.
